DEPCO Products is a market leader in aftermarket parts specializing in the wholesale construction and agricultural equipment markets. Currently, we are seeking a customer-focused, sales driven individual with prior customer service and/or inside sales experience to join our team as an Account Manager.
Job Overview:
- The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for driving sales by selling products to prospective and existing customers primarily through phone, email, and website. This role focuses on lead generation, relationship building, and closing sales without face-to-face interaction with customers.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Proactively contacts leads and existing customer via phone and email
- Builds and maintains strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat sales
- Identifies customer needs
- Presents products and/or promotions in a clear manner
- Conducts regular follow-ups with customers
- Offers second-to-none customer service
- Manages the entire sale cycle from initial contact to after the close of sale
- Ability to handle objections and negotiate pricing
- Answers questions and provides knowledge in reference to products, lead times, shipping, and order status, billing, etc.
- Captures and updates customer account information as needed
- Acts as a liaison between customer and internal departments to troubleshoot problems
- Ability to identify and resolve customer issues
- Elevates complaints to management
- Stays up to date with market trends
- Identifies opportunities for account expansion, upsells, and cross-selling
- Works to improve customer satisfaction and retention rates.
- Tracks progress, maintains accurate records, and contributes to forecasting
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED, bachelors degree preferred
- 1-3 years sales, customer service, account management, and/or call center(preferred)
- Sales-driven mentality
- Customer-focused mind set
- Excellent verbal communications skills and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to meet sales goals
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple customer accounts simultaneously
- High degree of organization and time-management skills
- Relationship building skills
- Self-motivated with strong follow-up skills
- Experience using CRM software and other sales automation tools (preferred)
- Knowledge in construction and/or agricultural parts/machines (not required, but preferred)
