PT Coordinator, Curriculum Internationalization (on-site)

The Highlights:

The Coordinator of Curriculum Internationalization (CCI) is responsible for fully administering the global certificates available to students at DePaul, executing the process of global learning course tagging, and for coordinating and assisting with a number of global learning programs, under the supervision of the Director of Curriculum Internalization (DCI). This position works directly with various internal (students, faculty, staff) and external stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate system records and delivery of programs, while further expanding DePaul’s global reach.

What You'll Do:

  • Fully administer the global certificates available to DePaul students (for undergraduate students: Global Fluency Certificate, Global Health Undergraduate Certificate, for graduate students: Global Competency Certificate) including adding certificates to students’ records in the student information system, monitoring and verifying student progress toward completing the certificates, responding to inquiries, coordinating student advising and support; sending regular communications to relevant stakeholders within the university. Promote awareness about the certificates among students, faculty and staff via info sessions, special events, social media etc. Track student completion and other success metrics. 
  • Fully administer accurate Global Learning (GLBL-) course process and tagging in the Student Information System (currently including Global Learning GLBL and Global Learning Experience GLE courses). 
  • Oversee course review processes and tagging execution according to at least two separate processes, procedures and timelines:
    • for Global Learning (GLBL/GL) courses:
      • coordinate processes, timelines and course review, working directly with members of the Comprehensive Internationalization Committee, Department Chairs, Program Directors and other internal stakeholders.. 
      • execute proper course tagging in PeopleSoft system
      • run specific queries and conduct regular course audits to ensure proper tagging in the system; make necessary corrections
      • ensure relevant deadlines are kept (ex. GL course-level tagging process occurs every two years, however section-level tagging happens once per term)
    • for Global Learning Experience (GLBL/GLE-) courses
      • working directly with the DCI and Assistant director of CI (ADCI), run specific queries and conduct regular course audits to ensure proper tagging in the system. Report any discrepancies and  make necessary changes in the system.
      • execute proper course tagging in PeopleSoft multiple times each term.
  • Assist with CI programs and events planning and execution, as well as with CI programs’ promotion/marketing, including, but not limited to creating and distributing marketing materials and attending special events to promote CI programs. 
  • Responsible for data reporting and data management for various CI programs. Assist with survey assessment management, as needed. 
  • Assist with planning and delivery of the Global Conversations program (various 90-min global conversation sessions over a two-week period), including but not limited to being a zoom room session facilitator. 
  • Assist with planning and on-site visits for incoming short-term programs for international partner institutions. 
  • Performs other duties as assigned. 
     

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor required. Master preferred. Familiarity with higher education environments is preferred.
  • Extensive experience in a multicultural environment with logistics and data management/system processing responsibilities will be considered as a substitute for the Bachelor degree.
  • Minimum of two-year experience with process management, and program logistics.
  • Intermediate working knowledge of MSOffice Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook, Teams etc.), GoogleSuite (Docs, Sheets etc,). 
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (particularly Acrobat and Illustrator)
  • Website editing, basic graphic design experience. Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript
  • Experience with social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram).
  • Positive and welcoming attitude.
  • Ability to customize communication content and tone according to audience.
  • Ability to work independently. Superb proven organizational, interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Keen attention to details is crucial for this position. Proven intercultural skills and sensitivity to cultural differences, protocols and customs.
  • Excellent time management skills and proven ability to meet strict deadlines, as well as handling multiple projects at the same time. Ability to respond quickly to change in a fast-paced environment. Experience in working with different levels of management. Ability to handle confidential information.
  • Reliability and commitment to a schedule. Initiative and strong service orientation.
  • Knowledge of SharePoint and PeopleSoft. Knowledge of survey management systems, such as Qualtrics. 
  • Experience working in a higher education environment. Knowledge of university/college office procedures.
  • International experience and enthusiasm for that experience.

Other:

  • The CI Coordinator must be available to assist with early morning or late evening sessions/events, as needed. Minimal weekend engagements.

The anticipated hiring range for this position is: $23.45 to $26.38/hr. 

The salary range provided in this posting reflects what we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Actual compensation offered or earned is dependent on experience, education and other factors including departmental budget.
