Responsibilities: The Maintenance Superintendent responsibilities include the following:

Communicate regularly with the Community Manager about turnovers, including prioritization when there are multiple units that require turnover at the same time.
  • Maintain, repair and improve the building by accurately and promptly completing work orders, following regular maintenance schedules, investigating and researching solutions to problems, and by being proactive versus reactive (i.e., performing regular inspections of the entire property).

Discuss additional skills with Community Manager so that they may be utilized to assist with timeliness and to reduce building expenditures, as appropriate. Please note that employee safety is the organization’s top priority; as such, the organization does not want any employee doing something they do not have the skills, experience or appropriate equipment to complete in a safe manner.
