Job Duties
The position provides administrative support and technical assistance to agency grants administration staff ensure day-to-day operations of the grant run smoothly and efficiently; provides assistance to ensure grant deliverables requirements are met; manages the reimbursement process for various agency grants; generates, compiles, enters, maintains, tracks, and reports on a variety of grant data; and assists with preparation of grant reports.
Minimum Qualifications
- Knowledge of standard office practices and procedures and of basic accounting functions and principles.
- Strong oral and written communications, interpersonal, time management, organizational, data entry, and computer skills (e.g., software applications such as Microsoft Office Suite, Internet, e-mail).
- Ability to understand and manage financial information; effectively manage the reimbursement system and documentation; complete assignments per deadlines and compliance guidelines; manage databases, generate reports, conduct inquiries, and analyze grant-related data; handle competing priorities; work effectively with various parties; identify and resolve issues; and perform designated grant responsibilities..
Additional Considerations
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations regarding grants, grant agency requirements, and grant criteria.
