The laboratory of Dr. Xia Xiao at the College of Medicine-Phoenix is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Research Technician II to aid in a research project focused on the metabolic regulation of iron and liver diseases using various mouse models. The successful candidate will join a multidisciplinary team within the setting of an outstanding new facility with capabilities in imaging, flow cytometry, bioinformatics, and other advanced approaches. The position is part of a well-funded research program and will provide the opportunity to produce high-impact publications. The candidate should have basic experience performing research in a biomedical laboratory setting, and experience in rodent handling will be advantageous. The candidate should be detail-oriented, conscientious, able to follow instructions, and have the ability to communicate in a clear, concise manner verbally and in writing.
