Group Deputy Director, Supervisory Health Insurance Specialist (Policy)

This position is located in the Department of Health & Human Services, Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, Center for Medicare, Medicare Drug Rebate and Negotiations Group (MDRNG).

As a Group Deputy Director, Supervisory Health Insurance Specialist (Policy), GS-0107-15, leads and manages the development and implementation of the Medicare Drug Price Negotiation Program and Medicare Prescription Drug Inflation Rebate Program within the scope of the MDRNG. EDUCATION: This job does not have an education qualification requirement. RESPONSIBILITIES: QUALIFICATIONS:

In order to qualify for the GS-15 , you must meet the following: You must demonstrate in your resume at least one year (52 weeks) of qualifying specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal government, obtained in either the private or public sector, to include:

1. Providing executive leadership for the development, implementation, and oversight of Medicare drug pricing policy, including the Medicare Drug Price Negotiation Program and Medicare Prescription Drug Inflation Rebate Program;
2. Leading the interpretation and implementation of statutory, regulatory, and policy requirements for Medicare drug pricing programs; and
3. Serving as a senior advisor to executive leadership, representing the organization with external stakeholders, and providing authoritative policy recommendations to support Medicare drug pricing programs.

Time-in-Grade: To be eligible, current Federal employees must have served at least 52 weeks (one year) at the next lower grade level from the position/grade level(s) to which they are applying.
