What are the responsibilities and job description for the ANALYST II position at Department of Consumer Affairs?
Under the general direction of the Enforcement Manager (Supervisor I), the Analyst II conducts compliance inspections and routine investigations involving licensees and unlicensed activity. The incumbent gathers and analyzes evidence, prepares reports, and recommends enforcement actions in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. The Analyst II communicates with complainants, licensees, and other agencies, responds to inquiries, and may testify in administration hearings. This position requires strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently in both office and field settings.

The incumbent must be able to work independently, manage multiple assignments, and maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive information.
