Position Descriptor

Instrumental Music Teacher: Strings - Marryatville High School (Music Focus School), teaching across this and other networks.

The Role Involves

• Small group and individual (Year 12) instrumental teaching, and ensemble conducting
• Collaborating with staff across multiple schools
• Developing programs aligned with the SA Curriculum and SACE frameworks
• Teaching all string instruments in groups in primary and secondary years (double bass by negotiation)
• Conducting string ensembles
• Using IT as appropriate
• Possible distance teaching by negotiation
