Job Title: Lighted Sign Fabricator
Summary: Fabricates and assembles structural metal components for lighted commercial signs by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Checks work order against drawings for accuracy, quality, measurements, etc.
- Develops layout and plans sequence of operations and cut list for components.
- Locates and marks bending and cutting lines onto metal work piece.
- Sets up and operates fabricating machines such as shears, cutoff saws, brakes, flame cutters, punch press, form roll and drill press, to cut and shape components to specified dimensions.
- Positions, aligns, fits and welds components together.
- Designs and constructs templates and fixtures.
- Fabricates and assembles sheet metal products.
- Fabricates products in a profitable manner.
Other Skills – Welding/Mig, air drills, saw, capability of training and reading production orders/blue prints.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
