- Counsels students to encourage and support student achievement
- Monitors, supervises, coordinates, and enforces rule of conduct and behavior of assigned students and reinforces positive student behaviors in accordance with school and District policy
- Observes, evaluates, reports, and records student performance, behavior, social development, and physical health
- Prepares lesson plans and materials according to District approved curriculum guidelines or state and local requirements
- Presents subject matter to students, using various teaching methods and instructional materials to meet varying needs and learning styles
- Instructs students individually and in groups using various teaching methods (e.g., lectures, technology, discussions)
- Establishes and communicates clear objectives for lessons, units, and projects
- Prepares, administers, assigns, and grades tests and assignments to evaluate student progress, reporting grades using District software
- Records student attendance daily; prepares for instruction that is aligned with the curriculum
- Informs Site Leader about any health and safety concerns in a timely manner
- Completes asynchronous professional learning by the deadline; completes teaching commitment for the entire session
- Engages in coaching sessions and adapts practice based on feedback during coaching; manages all supplies and materials provided to support the delivery of instruction. Returns the supplies and materials upon completing the teaching commitment
- Provide instructional support to students with an Individualized Education Program (IEP); provide student supervision as directed by the Site Leader; collaborate with other staff at the site to inform and support IEP goals and objectives
- Bachelor's Degree
- Lead for racial and educational excellence and work to dismantle systems of oppression and inequity in our community, along with believing in and supporting all students so they feel seen and heard with access to high quality education.
- Live and work with a permanent home address in Colorado while working with us.
