Denver Christian School is a Christ-centered community that develops the whole child—mind, body, and spirit. The Wellness & Human Performance department trains student-athletes using science-based strength, conditioning, and recovery systems integrated with biblical discipleship.
Internship Description:
Gain real-world experience in coaching, programming, and athlete development under the mentorship of certified Strength Coaches. Interns assist in the design and implementation of athletic training sessions, engage in technology-based performance tracking, and explore faith integration through leadership and service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Strength Coaches during daily training sessions.
- Utilize GymAware FLEX, TrainHeroic, and nutrition tracking platforms.
- Support data collection, athlete readiness, and recovery processes.
- Lead warm-ups, mobility sessions, and assist with program design.
- Participate in weekly biblical reflection discussions.
Schedule and Duration:
Flexible 6–16 week internship; opportunities available each semester (Fall, Spring, and Summer). Training occurs early morning through evening based on team schedules.
