Overview
Luckie’s Pine Straw is seeking a Telehealth Nurse Educator to support the health, safety, and wellness of a distributed landscaping workforce. This role will focus on educating employees on injury prevention, field safety, occupational health, and telehealth support, while providing training to supervisors and staff on managing workplace injuries and health concerns remotely.
The Telehealth Nurse Educator will play a key role in reducing workplace injuries, improving employee wellness, and supporting field teams through virtual education, training programs, and telehealth guidance.
This role is ideal for a Registered Nurse with experience in occupational health, telehealth, workforce safety, or employee health programs, particularly within labor-intensive industries such as landscaping, construction, or field services.
Responsibilities
- 1. Develop and deliver virtual health and safety training for landscaping field employees
- 2. Educate staff on injury prevention related to landscaping and outdoor work
- 3. Provide telehealth guidance for minor workplace injuries and health concerns
- 4. Support supervisors with injury triage and employee health recommendations
- 5. Create educational materials on heat stress, dehydration, and outdoor safety
- 6. Conduct virtual onboarding health and safety training for new hires
- 7. Assist with return-to-work planning following employee injuries or illness
- 8. Collaborate with operations leadership to improve employee wellness programs
- 9. Develop training on ergonomics, lifting techniques, and equipment safety
- 10. Provide guidance on OSHA safety standards and workplace health compliance
- 11. Track injury trends and recommend preventative training initiatives
- 12. Conduct virtual workshops on seasonal safety risks (heat, cold, weather hazards)
- 13. Support incident reporting and workplace health documentation
- 14. Educate employees on first aid and early intervention for workplace injuries
- 15. Partner with HR and leadership to improve employee health outcomes
Skills
- 1. Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the United States
- 2. 3–5 years of Registered Nurse experience
- 3. Experience in telehealth, occupational health, or employee health preferred
- 4. Experience supporting field-based or labor-intensive workforce preferred
- 5. Experience in injury prevention or workplace safety programs
- 6. Familiarity with OSHA guidelines and workplace safety best practices
- 7. Experience providing virtual education or remote coaching
- 8. Strong understanding of occupational health and employee wellness programs
- 9. Experience developing training materials and educational programs
- 10. Experience collaborating with operations, HR, or leadership teams
- 11. Comfortable working in remote and fast-paced environments
- 12. Experience in landscaping, construction, manufacturing, or field services preferred
Pay: $144,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
