Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental clinic. Duties
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques.
- Prepare and maintain the treatment area, ensuring compliance with infection control protocols.
- Take and develop X-rays as needed, ensuring accuracy and adherence to safety standards.
- Utilize 3D scanners for capturing precise dental impressions.
- Monitor and record vital signs of patients before, during, and after procedures.
- Maintain patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, including medical coding when necessary.
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Manage appointment scheduling, patient follow-ups, and office inventory as required.
Experience
- Must have 1 year experience working as a dental assistant.
- Previous experience in a dental clinic is preferred but not mandatory; we welcome candidates eager to learn.
- Familiarity with Epic software is a plus for managing patient records efficiently.
- Knowledge of infection control standards and practices is essential for maintaining a safe environment.
- Experience with assisting in various dental procedures will be beneficial for this role.
