We are seeking a professional and detail-oriented Dental Front Desk Receptionist to join our busy dental practice. Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and manage check-in/check-out processes using dental office management software such as Dentrix
- Schedule appointments accurately, coordinate patient flow, and confirm upcoming visits
- Verify insurance coverage, process insurance claims, and handle billing inquiries
- Collect payments and process co-pays
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Review documentation for completeness and accuracy, ensuring compliance with health information management standards
- Answer Phone calls professionally with excellent phone etiquette
- Assist patients with intake forms and provide excellent customer service throughout their visit
- Ensure confidentiality of protected health information (PHI) in accordance with HIPAA guidelines
- Support clinic staff with administrative support tasks as needed to ensure efficient office operations
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a dental or medical front desk role is highly desirable; clinic experience is preferred
- Proficiency with dental practice management software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix
- Knowledge of dental terminology, insurance verification.
- Strong computer skills
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation review and record keeping
- Exceptional customer service skills with professional phone etiquette and bilingual abilities preferred to serve diverse patient populations
- Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certification or training in medical office administration is advantageous
