Job Description
Job Title: Sanitizer - Compounding
Department: Compounding
Reports To: Compounding Supervisor
Summary
Sanitizes facility equipment which may include mixing vessels, filling equipment, holding tanks, drums and utensils.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Follows safety rules and regulations.
- Completes tasks in a timely manner and according to production schedule.
- Documents all sanitizing activities in appropriate log book.
- Cleans and sanitizes all compounding equipment, batching tanks, assembly lines, production related equipment, work areas and facilities machinery according to procedure and in a safe and efficient manner which ensures quality standards.
- Dismantles and reassembles devices and equipment as necessary
- Keeps work area organized and clean.
- Complies with cGMP, EHS guidelines and all working procedures assigned to the position.
- Performs other tasks, as assigned

Education and/or Experience
High School degree/ GED required.
Language Skills
Ability to read and comprehend instructions and correspondence. Ability to write correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations. Must be able to pass internal English exam.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages. Must be able to pass internal math exam.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, verbal, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and risk of electrical shock. The employee is frequently exposed to high, precarious places. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals and outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, but in some cases can be high and require hearing protection.
Pay Range
The Sanitizer is a non-exempt position that is paid hourly. Pay rate will be dependent on a number of factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills, and experience.
