Lead Dental Assistant – Dental Line (Encino, CA)
Salary: $28 per hour (based on experience)
Employment: 35–40 hours per week
We are seeking a skilled, dependable, and motivated Lead Dental Assistant to join our team at Dental Line in Encino. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment and is ready to take on a leadership position—supporting both the doctor and assisting team while ensuring an exceptional patient experience.

Job Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during a variety of procedures (restorative, surgical, implant, and cosmetic)
- Lead and coordinate the dental assisting team to ensure efficient daily workflow
- Prepare and maintain operatories, ensuring cleanliness and organization
- Oversee sterilization protocols and maintain OSHA compliance
- Train and mentor new dental assistants
- Take digital X-rays, impressions, and intraoral scans (as permitted)
- Manage clinical inventory and order supplies as needed
- Ensure excellent patient care, comfort, and communication throughout visits
- Collaborate with the front office to maintain smooth patient flow
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of dental assisting experience (lead experience preferred)
- X-ray certification (required)
- Strong knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and infection control
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and stay efficient in a busy environment
- Experience with Open Dental (preferred)
- Bilingual is a plus
- High school diploma or GED
