Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality standards
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong customer service experience; ability to guide patients through treatment planning and decision-making
- Preferred experience in a dental office; ideally a similar patient coordination role.
- Strong understanding of dental terminology, procedures, and insurance processes
- Proficiency with dental practice management software (Dentrix / Eaglesoft)
- Experience working with dental insurance claims and benefit verification systems
- Bilingual - Spanish (preferred)
- Serve as primary point of contact for patients regarding treatment plans, financial options, and appointment scheduling
- Explain dental procedures, treatment plans, and associated costs clearly and compassionately to patients
- maintaining patient records and confidentiality according to HIPAA
