Key Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and root planing, to maintain and improve patients' oral health.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventative care.
- Take and review dental X-rays as needed.
- Assist the dentist in identifying and treating oral health issues.
- Administer local anesthesia as permitted by state regulations.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Utilize laser technology for periodontal therapy and other procedures (if certified).
- Ensure a clean, safe, and organized operatory environment.
Qualifications:
- Current state licensure as a Dental Hygienist.
- Laser certification (preferred but not required).
- Proficiency in using dental software and technology.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
