What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Service Associate position at DENSO Air Systems Kentucky?
Job Summary
Following of process sheets during assembly and testing of tubing components. Inspection of parts for quality and ensuring that work area is clean, orderly, and safe.
Essential Functions
- Good hand/eye coordination
- Safety conscious at all times
- Ensure work area is clean and safe.
- Must be quality driven
- Service related duties
- Assembling parts
- Bending parts
- Learning all aspects of service parts
- May learn hand brazing later on
- Will need to work 8:00am – 4:30pm (Monday – Friday)
- MAY need to work Saturday and/or Sunday when needed due to customer demand.
- Daily and/or weekend Overtime as necessary due to customer demand
- Immediate notification of concerns to leadership.
- Work effectively with team members regarding quality and/or production issues.
- Complete required training programs.
Secondary Functions
- Perform other duties as needed/assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to accurately complete all paperwork.
- Knowledge of auto or hand brazing helpful but not mandatory
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
- Factory environment with exposure to moderate levels of noise, grease and oils, and moving machinery.
- Occasional lifting, carrying, or moving objects up to 35 lbs.
- Long periods of standing
