Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced System Administrator to manage and support our on-premises and cloud-based IT infrastructure. This role is responsible for system reliability, security, and performance, with a strong focus on Microsoft, Azure, and hybrid environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and support Windows and Linux servers (on-prem and cloud).
- Manage users, permissions, and access (Active Directory / Microsoft Entra ID).
- Monitor systems, performance, and security; troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Maintain backups, patching, and disaster recovery processes.
- Support networking (DNS, IP configuration, subnets, routing, hybrid IaaS).
- Document configurations, procedures, and system changes.
- Collaborate with IT and business teams on projects and improvements.
Required Skills & Experience
- 3 years of system administration experience or equivalent.
- Windows Server and Linux administration.
- Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy.
- Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VPNs, firewalls).
- Virtualization (VMware vSphere and/or Hyper-V).
- Microsoft Azure administration, including:
- Entra ID, VMs, VNETs, Storage Accounts, Key Vaults
- Azure Arc, SQL Managed Instances, Intune, Azure DevOps
- Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange, SharePoint).
Preferred Skills
- SQL Server / MySQL (SSMS, basic query modification).
- Scripting: PowerShell, Python, Azure CLI, Bash.
- Monitoring tools: Datadog, Microsoft Sentinel.
- Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps).
- Databricks experience is a plus.
Ideal candidates will have experience with most of the technologies listed, as these systems are used daily.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
