Position Highlights:
- Clinic-based pharmacy (primarily serving in-house patients), fully electronic
- Participation in a 340B program
- HIV and Prep; No controlled substances handled
- Consistent, predictable schedule with regular hours and alternating weekends
- Collaborative care model with direct provider interaction
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispense medications accurately and efficiently in accordance with clinic protocols
- Oversee and support 340B program compliance and operations
- Review prescriptions for accuracy, appropriateness, and potential interactions
- Perform auditing functions
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes
- Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with applicable regulations
- Utilize and apply medical coding knowledge as part of pharmacy and billing processes
Qualifications:
- Active Pharmacist license in the State of Florida; 1 or more years of experience
- Experience working with or knowledge of 340B programs
- Familiarity with medical codes and billing processes
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient care
- Ability to thrive in a team-oriented, clinic-based environment
