A Denny's Graveyard Server works the overnight shift—typically between 9:00 PM and 5:00 AM—to greet guests, take accurate orders, and serve food safely in a fast-paced, late-night environment. PART TIME ONLY MONDAY-TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY
Core Duties and Responsibilities
- Customer Service & Sales: Warmly greet overnight guests, take precise orders via POS systems, deliver meals promptly, and suggestively upsell menu items to boost check averages.
- Cash & Operations: Handle cash and card transactions accurately, maintain clean and stocked service areas through side-work and deep cleaning, and collaborate closely with the overnight kitchen staff.
Job Requirements and Qualifications
- Availability & Physical Demands: Commit to overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays while maintaining the stamina to stand, walk, and lift up to 30 lbs. [1, 2]
- Skills & Compliance: Meet health regulations, and demonstrate basic math, strong menu knowledge, and the ability to work independently during quiet hours
