Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
- Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring presentation quality and guest satisfaction
- Upsell menu items including cocktails, wines, spirits, and specialty dishes to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Handle cash transactions accurately, process sales efficiently, and manage POS systems with confidence
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in compliance with food safety regulations; assist with food handling and basic food preparation when needed
- Support guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns promptly, and creating a welcoming atmosphere
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments; fine dining experience is a plus
- Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail mixing, and beverage presentation
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices in the food industry
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads; physical stamina is essential
- Previous experience in serving, bussing tables, or host/hostess roles is advantageous
