ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Promote the learning and growth of all students and create a safe and effective classroom environment with cultural proficiency.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to make a positive impact on student achievement by supporting teachers in their efforts to maximize the effectiveness of their instructional practice through the integration of technology.
- Work collaboratively and communicate effectively with administrators, teachers, and other school staff to strengthen all aspects of the instructional program.
- Perform relevant professional tasks or duties as may be assigned by the building Principal and/or his designee.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must hold appropriate MA DESE License.
- Successful classroom experience teaching social studies at a middle school desired.
- Experience and knowledge of current instructional strategies desired.
- Citizenship, residency or work visa required
