ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Supervise conduct within the school, and oversee disciplinary procedures, keeping records of any disciplinary action.
- Work with the Principal in the preparation of the student handbook.
- Propose schedules of classes and extracurricular activities.
- Give individual and group guidance for personal problems, educational and vocational objectives, and social and recreational activities.
- Supervise the preparation of student schedules.
- Cooperate in the conducting of safety inspections and safety fire drill activities.
- Supervise the reporting and monitoring of student attendance and work with the attendance supervisor for investigative follow-up action.
- Serve with parent, faculty, and student groups as requested in advancing educational and related activities and objectives.
- Monitor and confirm safety and security in the building and property.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- MA DESE license as a Principal/Assistant Principal covering grades K-6.
- Experience with educator evaluations and curriculum preferred.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Masters degree preferred.
Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
