Sales Manager – F&I Experience Required

Manhattan Jeep is seeking an experienced Automotive Sales Manager with a strong background in finance and insurance operations. This is a dual-function leadership position primarily responsible for leading the sales department while providing F&I Manager coverage approximately one to two days per week, based on business needs.
The ideal candidate is a proven automotive retail leader who can coach and develop a high-performing sales team, structure profitable and customer-focused deals, and support a transparent, compliant F&I process. This position is well suited for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume dealership environment.
Sales Manager Responsibilities
- Coach, motivate, and grow a high‑performing sales team
- Run daily meetings, performance reviews, and deal approvals
- Oversee the full sales process—from greeting to delivery
- Structure profitable, customer‑focused deals
- Manage CRM activity, follow‑up standards, and inventory merchandising
- Partner with leadership to hit monthly sales and gross targets
- Recruit and develop strong sales professionals
- Provide F&I coverage (lenders, products, compliance, contracting)
Sales Manager Requirements
- 5 years automotive retail management experience
- Prior Stellantis experience preferred
- Proven success as both Sales Manager & F&I Manager
- Strong deal structure, lender relationships, and compliance knowledge
- Experience with CDK or comparable dealership management system
- Valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets the dealership’s insurance and vehicle-use requirements.
- Availability to work a dealership schedule, including evenings and weekends as required.
Compensation
· $125,000 - $140,000 with excellent bonus opportunities
