What are the responsibilities and job description for the Health Careers Coordinator position at Denmark Technical College (SC)?
Leads recruitment, advisement, industry and community relationships, and supervision of students and instructors in his/her area/programs. Coordinates/advises service delivery processes for assigned healthcare related training programs.
Coordinates and ensures completion of all Allied Health related SNAP E&T registrations, intake, attendance, and data collection. Enters and monitors data for SCCETS database including monthly invoicing process.
Collects and analyzes student and fiscal data related to allied health programs and presents reports to Director and stakeholders. Maintains student and program records in print and digital formats. Provides practical, technical, and QEP-related support for Workforce students. Manages Allied Health supplies, program equipment, and assigned budget.
Assists in the establishment of new programs or the modification of existing programs. Maintains up-to-date knowledge of the status of assigned program area(s). Maintains licenses in good standing. Reviews, evaluates, and reports on assigned program area(s). Monitors and updates policies and procedures for assigned programs. Plans, supervises. and participates in Denmark Technical College and South Carolina Technical System programs/peer groups. Occasionally it provides instruction to students and/or training to staff as scheduled.
Conducts special projects at management's request; prepares and presents reports. Provides direction and guidance to staff concerning program issues; recommends allocation of resources. provides feedback to employees and director.
LPN/RN in good standing with 5 years of experience and at least 2 years of caring for geriatric patients in hospital or long-term care setting.
Salary : $60,000 - $63,000
