Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated and experienced Psychotherapist to join our mental health team. The ideal candidate will provide evidence-based psychotherapy services to diverse patient populations, including adolescents, adults, and seniors. This role involves conducting comprehensive assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering therapy through various modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, trauma based therapies.. The Psychotherapist will work in an outpatient setting utilizing telehealth options when appropriate, to support clients' mental health and overall well-being.
Duties
- Conduct thorough clinical assessments and diagnostic evaluations.
- Develop personalized treatment plans aligned with client needs and clinical best practices.
- Provide individual, family, or couples counseling sessions using evidence based methods appropriate for the individuals needs.
- Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to foster patient engagement and facilitate behavior change.
- Manage crisis situations effectively through crisis management protocols and intervention strategies.
- Document all patient interactions accurately in medical records while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Support patients dealing with PTSD, addiction issues, grief, chronic pain, etc. through specialized counseling approaches.
- Conduct ongoing client evaluations to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
Requirements
- Master's degree or higher in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Valid licensure or certification as a Psychologist, Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or equivalent credentialing as required by state regulations.
- Proven experience in psychotherapy modalities including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy etc.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $45.00 - $65.00 per hour
