What are the responsibilities and job description for the Property Insurance Litigation Attorney position at Denham Property and Injury Law Firm?
We sue insurance companies, and we're hiring an Indiana-licensed litigator to help build our Indiana practice.
Pay: $150,000 - $250,000 per year (base bonus). Expect $150,000 for meeting minimum expectations.
Full-time at our office in Carmel, Indiana. No property insurance experience required.

What You'll Do
You'll represent homeowners and property owners whose insurance companies underpaid, delayed, or denied legitimate claims.
- Manage and efficiently litigate cases from intake through resolution.
- Counsel clients: analyze their needs, identify solutions, and set case strategy.
- Correspond directly with clients, adjusters, experts, and opposing counsel.
- Research and draft pleadings, briefs, and motions.
- Oversee paralegals and administrative staff.
- Appear in person for hearings and trials in Indiana state courts and the Southern and Northern Districts of Indiana, and at depositions, mediations, and inspections.
What You Need
- An Indiana law license in good standing and at least 1 year of law firm experience.
- State and federal court experience, preferably in Indiana: discovery, taking and defending depositions, and trial prep.
- You draft complaints, motions, and briefs with little supervision and work independently across multiple files.
- You can supervise and mentor staff.
- You live within commuting distance of Carmel and can travel in-state.
- Bonus, not required: admission in other states or first-party property experience.
