Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Demolition Estimator located in Succasunna, NJ. The Demolition Estimator will be responsible for preparing project estimates, analyzing costs, conducting site surveys, preparing proposals, and coordinating with project teams. The role involves assessing project requirements, reviewing bid documents, and ensuring the accurate execution of estimates while maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Collaboration with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders will also be a key part of the role.
Qualifications
- Strong experience in cost estimation, reading blueprints, and preparing bids
- Knowledge of demolition techniques, safety protocols, and regulations
- Analytical skills for evaluating project scope, costs, and labor requirements
- Proficiency with estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Effective communication, negotiation, and collaboration skills
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred
- Previous experience in the construction or demolition industry is a plus
