JOB DESCRIPTION
Our Value Center in DeForest is hiring a Shipping Associate to join our Distribution team. If you’re dependable, efficient, open to learning new things, and take pride in doing a job well, we’d love to talk to you.
In this role, you will:
- Construct cartons and prepare batch carts for order fulfillment
- Accurately pick customer orders using wearable and voice-to-pick technology
- Ensure the correct products and quantities are shipped
- Prepare cartons for shipment to prevent transit damage
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Assist in other areas of the Value Center as workload and priorities shift
QUALIFICATIONS
- A track record of reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
- A positive, team-first attitude
- Commitment to following safe work practices
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English and use basic computer or tablet systems
- Basic counting and math skills with strong attention to accuracy
- Ability to speak clearly and hear instructions when using voice-to-pick technology
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand or walk for 6–8 hours per day, and perform physical tasks including twisting, stooping, squatting, and reaching
- Willingness to learn new systems and processes
- Willingness to work overtime when business needs require it
