Must-Have Skills & Experience
- 5 years of hands-on Data Governance experience including framework design, stewardship operating models, policy enforcement
- Proficiency in data cataloging, lineage, access control, and metadata management using data governance tools
- Strong expertise in data quality management, data profiling, and standardization techniques across large-scale enterprise datasets, CDE identification
- Experience implementing Data Catalogs and Business Data Dictionaries at scale across multiple business domains.
- Hands-on experience with data lineage design and documentation across multi-layer Lakehouse architectures (Bronze / Silver / Gold or equivalent).
- Working knowledge of data security classification frameworks and access control enforcement in cloud data platforms (column masking, row-level security, tag-based policies).
- Strong SQL proficiency and comfort working with structured data at scale; familiarity with Delta Lake or similar table formats preferred.
- Experience operating within Agile delivery models, contributing to sprint planning, backlog grooming, and milestone-based governance delivery.
- Strong client communication and stakeholder engagement skills; ability to translate technical governance concepts for business audiences.
