What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Development Manager position at Delve Search & Recruiting?
Executive Benefits & Risk Management Consulting
Chicago, IL | Remote/Hybrid
About the Opportunity
Our client is a well-established employee benefits and risk management consulting firm serving organizations throughout the Chicago market.
Rather than simply selling insurance products, their consultants partner directly with CEOs, CFOs, Presidents, business owners, and HR executives to solve complex business challenges involving employee benefits, healthcare costs, pharmacy strategies, risk management, and human capital.
As the organization continues to grow, they're investing in experienced consultative sales professionals who enjoy executive-level conversations, building long-term relationships, and developing recurring books of business.
Why This Role Stands Out
This is not a traditional insurance sales position.
You'll build a consulting practice centered around helping organizations make better business decisions while being supported by dedicated account management, service teams, actuaries, and analysts. That allows you to focus on what you do best—developing executive relationships and growing your business.
If you're looking for an entrepreneurial environment where you can build a long-term book of business with substantial recurring income, this is an exceptional opportunity.
