Applications Engineer – Semiconductor Technology

Do you have experience working within the semiconductor industry and enjoy solving hands-on technical problems?
We’re recruiting for an established US technology manufacturer looking for an Applications Engineer to join its growing team in Edmond, Oklahoma.
You’ll work with a specialist 5-axis precision platform used within semiconductor device preparation and analysis, becoming a technical expert on the equipment and helping customers solve complex application challenges.
You don’t need previous experience with this technology or a background in failure analysis. We’re interested in people who understand the semiconductor environment and have the technical curiosity to learn.
The Role
You’ll receive extensive training before taking increasing responsibility for customer applications.
Your work will include:
- Developing and testing new semiconductor applications
- Preparing and working with semiconductor devices and samples
- Solving customer technical challenges
- Running equipment demonstrations and feasibility studies
- Delivering customer training and technical support
- Testing and validating new product developments
- Working alongside Sales and Engineering on customer projects
- Contributing to the next generation of the technology
It’s a varied position combining semiconductors, engineering, applications, customers and product development rather than a repetitive production role.
