Role Description
Deluxe Waterproofing & Caulking, Inc. is seeking a full-time Junior Waterproofing Estimator to join our team in a hybrid capacity, with work based out of our office in Fort Lauderdale, FL and some remote work flexibility. The Junior Estimator will assist in preparing accurate cost estimates for projects, analyzing plans and specifications, identifying labor, material, and time requirements, and assisting in proposal generation. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with project managers, maintaining detailed records of estimates, and communicating with vendors and suppliers to obtain material pricing.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural and structural drawings
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills for creating accurate estimates
- Familiarity with construction materials, particularly in waterproofing and concrete restoration
- Proficiency in relevant software such as estimating and project management tools
- Strong communication and organizational skills for collaboration with team members, clients, and suppliers
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills to handle complex project requirements
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet project deadlines
- Previous estimating or construction experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field is a plus
- Willingness to learn and grow within a team-oriented environment
