Electrical Assembler Job Description
Shift: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
Wage: $25/hour
Overtime: Occasionally 10 extra hours per week (up to 55 hours in specific situations); not demanded.
Company Overview: Specializes in building electrical boxes for marine and Navy applications, including high-voltage (480V) and low-voltage (24V) systems. Involves control panels, PLCs, circuits, and wiring for power systems on ships. Different from traditional power line work; focused on 2-4 foot boxes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble and wire electrical boxes with high/low voltage components.
- Land wires in control panels, following electrical prints (e.g., pin 23-25, positive/negative/neutral).
- Work with wire gauges from 4 gauge (thickest) to 12 gauge.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics for PLCs and circuits.
- Contribute to systems for filtration pumps, skids, and ship power systems.
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
