Job Skills / Requirements

Security Dispatcher

Shifts: All Weekend Shifts (graveyard and swing) - must be able to work days, swing, graveyards, weekends, and holidays (this schedule varies each week) Up to 20 Hours a Week    

  ***WORKING WEEKENDS IS REQUIRED***    

You Have an Active Guard Card - You are available weekends, like people and appreciate a fast paced, challenging work environment. You are always polite, professional and courteous and have a guard card.  This position is in an office environment where your main responsibilities are talking to people in person, on the phone and via email / text.  You’ll sometimes be called upon to work overtime, and you’re experienced using a computer.    

Objective:     

Dispatch officers shall provide excellent customer service to clients and employees.  You will provide in-house support to supervisors & managers and act as the receptionist.  You will also use a computer to monitor employee activity, use multi-line phone system, email and other common computer programs.    

Responsibilities:     

· Monitor the safety of security officers in the field. · Quickly & accurately pass messages. · Customer Service in person, over the phone and online. · Quality Control via web-based applications.    

In addition to the above you must complete other job-related functions as they may arise from time to time.    

Skills Required:    

You must speak confidently and professionally in person, over the phone & in written communication like email & reports. Strong organizational skills and time management is required.  You must be a self-starter and take projects from start to finish unsupervised. You must work well with others as part of a team. Experience using common computer programs and office equipment is required. Proficiency with mobile devices and apps are required.    

Requirements:    

• Have a valid California Guard Card. • Be drug-free. • Have reliable transportation.    

• Administrative office experience with computer databases and systems    

Schedule:    

Delta Protective Services is proud of our in-house 24/7/365 dispatch center.  You’ll work as an hourly employee in an office environment.  Working weekends is required and may be directed to work additional hours at the direction of a supervisor or manager.
