Description:
We are a Commercial Collection Agency in Roseville, MN with more than 30 years in the debt collection industry.
We are experiencing rapid account growth and are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team. We offer excellent hourly pay, monthly commission, and benefits.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing their assigned accounts from start to finish. You will engage in multi-channel collection outreach on commercial accounts including placing calls, managing your dialer-queue, emailing, texting, and skip-tracing work, etc. using various systems. You will become skilled in negotiating payment arrangements and settlements to close out their assigned contract accounts to the satisfaction our office standards and our commercial clients’ requirements.
You will accurately and diligently notate ongoing collection activity in our collection software platform and other systems as needed. You will work in tandem with other team members and management to ensure they’re achieving and surpassing their individual and group goals. As you grow you will be able to handle an increase in account load and responsibility as you become more comfortable in the role. Opportunities for promotion are also possible after the first year, given a proven track record of success within the company.
Job Type: Full-time
Rate: $22.00 - $23.00 / hr. monthly goal-based commission
Commissions can net annually: $10,000-30,000 above base-pay depending on personal performance.

Preferred Skills:
· 2 years of experience in AR, Collections, Sales, Customer Service, or other relevant role.
· Prior experience in collections, sales, or a closing-team a huge plus!
· Associates or Bachelor degree is desired but will consider candidates based on total experience.
· Knowledgeable with various management systems, office software, Excel, Word, Outlook, phones.
· Proven track record of reaching and exceeding monthly goals.
· Professional and dependable individual with a strong phone voice, and excellent negotiating skills.
· A people-person who is able to relate to customers, build trust, and work towards a resolution.
· Reliable team-player and comfortable working with manager to track monthly performance metrics, and open to feedback to meet and exceed monthly goals.
· Willingness to learn new systems and adapt quickly to change.
· Willingness to review strategies and learn new collection techniques proven to help you commission each month.
· Knowledge of FDCPA laws a plus.
