What are the responsibilities and job description for the Locum Physician position at Delta Locum Tenens?
COVERAGE REQUIREMENTS
Anesthesiology coverage is required for an inpatient setting, Monday through Friday, 7am-3pm. Weeknight call is a 1:3 rotation.
Cases include adults, spines, OB, vascular (excluding open heart), and complex ortho. Preference is given to pediatric cases, epidurals, and regional anesthesia.
The hospital has 182 beds and a Level II designation. Average weeknight callbacks are 1, with an average of 2 on weekends.
A minimum of 15 patients per day is expected. Comfortable supervision of Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) is necessary.
The Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system used is Epic, with 7 CRNAs and 3 MDs on staff.
Board certification or BE status within 3-5 years of completing training is required.
An active North Carolina medical license is also required.
POSITION DETAILS
This full-time position requires a commitment of 1 to 2 weeks per month on an ongoing basis.
