Quotation Specialist

General Job Description

The Quotation Specialist works closely with regional sales managers, engineering and customer service to provide accurate price quotes and lead time on standard and custom products to agents and customers.

Responsibilities

· Accurately process new quote requests and changes to existing quotes within 24 - 48 hours upon receipt.

· Provide quotations for custom or modified products, and coordinate needs between sales force and Engineering, including suggesting potential solutions.

· Follow-up on project status and quotations sent to agents and customers and update systems accordingly.

· Receive purchase orders from customers, validate against the quote and advise customer of any required revisions, as necessary.

· Provide technical support to agents and specifiers as needed, including: product design, usage and installation.

· Develop and maintain an excellent working relationship with appropriate representative staff and sales force.

· Link quotations to CRM (as needed) to ensure opportunities and projects are captured and logged.

· Participation in special projects related to cost analysis, book price, and price development, as needed.

Qualifications

· Associates degree in Business or Technical field required; Bachelors preferred.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.

· Successful experience in a fast paced, multitasking environment required.

· Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word), Internet, SAP software is preferred.

· Ability to learn new and complicated systems quickly, with a strong background in ERP systems and other databases.

· SAP Business One or SAP S/4 HANA software experience is strongly preferred.

· Experience in Lighting is strongly preferred.

This is a full time, on-site position in Pompano Beach, FL

Pay Range: $55,000 - $65,000
