Position Summary

The Custodian / Janitor is a crucial part of our team, responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in our facilities to ensure a safe and welcoming environment. This role demands attention to detail, reliability, and adherence to company and safety standards.

Objectives and Key Results (OKRs)

• Ensure facility cleanliness to promote uninterrupted operations.
  
• Complete 100% of assigned daily cleaning tasks each month.
• Achieve 95% completion of deep-cleaning tasks per schedule.
• Reduce service disruptions and safety incidents.
  
• Maintain incidents related to cleaning below 1% of total site incidents.
• Resolve 90% of urgent cleaning requests within 30 minutes.
• Maintain operational readiness through effective supply management.
  
• Keep cleaning supply inventory within 10% of par levels.
• Report all facility defects within one shift.
• Ensure service quality and compliance.
  
• Maintain 90% compliance in quality inspections.
• Timely completion of safety and handling trainings.

Key Responsibilities

• Daily cleaning of desks, common areas, break rooms, and restrooms.
• Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and buffing floors.
• Emptying and relining trash and recycling bins.
• Replenishing supplies and monitoring inventory.
• Performing minor repairs and reporting maintenance needs.
• Adhering to safety and cleaning guidelines.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Completion rate of scheduled tasks.
• Adherence to request response times.
• Quality inspection scores.
• Incident and safety report rates.
• Accuracy in supply inventory.
• Resolution of work orders.
• Compliance with mandatory trainings.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Prior cleaning or janitorial experience is preferred but not required.
• Physical ability for standing and lifting (up to 50 lbs).
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
• Reliable and able to work early mornings.

Working Conditions

• Primarily indoor work with occasional outdoor tasks.
• Full-time position, typically before business hours.
