Position Type/Hours:

Full-time position. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Position Profile:

This position is responsible for focusing on designing, integrating, and guiding complex digital systems—often across hardware, firmware, software, and networks. Operating at the system level, making high-impact design decisions that shape how products or platforms are built and scaled.

Essential Functions:

• System & Database Administration
• Develop and maintain internal tools, scripts, and applications to improve IT operations and database workflows.
• Automate repetitive administrative tasks (e.g., monitoring, deployments, data migrations).
• Support integration of databases with enterprise and manufacturing systems.
• Implement database and system security best practices.
• Manage user access controls and monitor for vulnerabilities.
• Ensure compliance with audit and regulatory requirements.
• Provide Tier 2/3 support for system, database, and application issues.
• Document system configurations, database schemas, and code for long-term maintainability.
• Provide hands-on mentorship to a small cross-functional team of IT and ERP professionals, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards and best practices.

Education and Experience:

• 8–15 years in digital systems, embedded systems, or hardware architecture
• Strong understanding of digital electronics, processors, and system integration
• Ability to think strategically and long-term, not just at the component level
• Excellent communication with engineering, manufacturing, and leadership

Competencies:

• Positive Teamwork Orientation
• Experience with content management systems and deployment
• Thorough with details and capable of managing multiple tasks
• Communication Proficiency (Verbal and Written)

Position Type, Work Environment & Travel

• Full time, exempt
• Normal office environment.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit. The employee frequently is required to walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand. The employee must frequently lift or move objects up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move objects up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus.

Salary Range:

$95,000 - $180,000 per year (DOE - Depending on Experience)
