About the Role
Delta Health is looking for a compassionate and detail-oriented Phlebotomist/Lab Aide to join our Laboratory Services team. As a key member of our clinical support staff, you’ll work directly with patients of all ages and backgrounds to collect and process blood specimens while providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary collections with minimal discomfort to the patient
- Accurately identify patients and label specimens per protocol
- Follow proper infection control standards and safety procedures
- Interact professionally and empathetically with patients of all ages
- Assist with general lab support duties as needed
- Communicate effectively with nursing staff, physicians, and lab personnel
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in phlebotomy preferred
- Certification as a Phlebotomist preferred (additional pay applies)
- Strong multitasking and communication skills
- Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure or fast-paced situations
- CPR certification is helpful but not required
