Assistant Director
Reports to: Vice President of Outreach
The Assistant Director will assist in the oversight of development of referral networks and partnerships in the areas of early childcare, preschool, healthcare, and other social services for which referrals will be provided at R&R sites.
MIMIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• Master's degree of social work preferred. Bachelor's degree of social work or education or a related field.
• Three years' experience working in a similar field or environment.
• Three years or more residence in the service area to be served preferred and must have a working knowledge of community resources
• Must have a valid Driver's License, proof of insurance, and must provide personal vehicle to travel (if applicable to position.
Essential Duties:
• Provide day-to-day operational support to the Referral Network Director
• Responsible for training of Research and Referral Site staff
• Data collection
• Oversight of lending library materials
• Development of special resources and materials for families with infants and toddlers,
• Oversite of the advisory board
• Oversight of the emergency preparedness plan
• Oversight of employment readiness for parents
• Assistance with implementing emergency preparedness plans
• Other duties as necessary
