Delta Field Services is seeking an experienced Utility Inspector to join our team in the Lebanon, MO area. This position is intended to be long-term, with a strong likelihood of continued, ongoing work based on current and projected operational needs. We are looking for a candidate with direct experience in gas distribution and utility inspection who understands the expectations and responsibilities of field-based utility work.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform inspections on gas distribution (Poly Distribution) projects to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements
- Inspect new construction, maintenance, and distribution work activities
- Verify proper installation and documentation of gas distribution systems
- Utilize mapping software to document and track field activity
- Maintain accurate inspection records and communicate findings effectively
- Work closely with contractors, field crews, and project management to ensure quality and safety standards are met
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience as a Utility Inspector, specifically within a Utility or Gas Distribution company
- Strong background in Poly Distribution / gas distribution work
- Experience utilizing mapping systems
- Knowledge of gas distribution construction standards and safety requirements
- Ability to work independently in a field environment
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
