Director of Region Development - Service
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic director of region development to lead the growth and transformation of our service business across the Americas. This role is responsible for developing and executing the service business strategy, expanding service revenue streams, and driving customer satisfaction and loyalty through high-performance service delivery.
The ideal candidate brings strong experience in managing industrial or technical services, deep commercial acumen, and a customer-centric mindset.
This position is structured as a key leadership hire. The ideal candidate will demonstrate both operational excellence and visionary leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive service business strategy across multiple service lines (maintenance, repair, modernization, digital services, and lifecycle support etc.)
- Identify and drive opportunities to expand recurring service revenues, including service contracts, warranty extensions, and digital offerings.
- Lead and optimize service delivery operations, ensuring high performance in field service, technical support, and repair centers.
- Establish and track KPIs related to service revenue, customer satisfaction, response time, and first-time fix rates.
- Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and compliance standards in service operations.
- Serve as the executive point of contact for strategic service customers and partners.
- Develop value propositions tailored to industry verticals (e.g., data centers, industrial plants, energy infrastructure).
- Leverage customer insights to continuously improve service offerings and experience
- Drive profitable growth by managing P&L for the service business team.
- Build pricing models and commercial policies for service products and packages.
- Support key deal negotiations for large service contracts or solution-based engagements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in service business management, operations and delivery.
- Proven record in growing service revenue and leading regional service team.
- Demonstrated success in managing P&L, building multi-million-dollar businesses, managing complex partnerships, and operating in a matrix organization.
- Deep understanding of industrial service business models in sectors such as energy, automation, infrastructure, or mission-critical facilities
- Strong leadership presence, with experience influencing executives internally and externally.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and cross-cultural collaboration skills.
Salary : $200,000 - $290,000
