Position Description
Delta Dental of Michigan is seeking an intern to support our culture, communications and community affairs (C3) department. As a member of the C3 department, our intern will have the opportunity to learn from and assist the marketing, communications, culture and community affairs teams. This is a full-time, hybrid position working 4 days per week in the office and 1 day per week remote. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication, writing, interpersonal and organizational skills and the flexibility to work with all teams within the department on a wide variety of projects. Tasks may include:
Must be currently enrolled as a second or third year student pursuing a degree in marketing, communications or a related field. This position requires proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Photoshop, graphic design and social media experience a plus. Must be highly motivated, able to solve problems and work independently.

- Assisting with creation of marketing communications and digital content creation; PowerPoint experience a plus
- Facilitating internal employee culture activities
- Assisting with social media efforts
- Assisting with employee volunteer events and giving campaigns
- Facilitating company engagement in community events
- Assisting with photography & videography needs; Photoshop or graphic design experience a plus
- Performing other related assigned duties as necessary
