Position Summary
The Staff Physical Therapist provides physical therapy services to pediatric through geriatric patients under the supervision of the Rehabilitation Services Director. This role focuses on improving patients’ functional abilities through evaluation, treatment planning, and evidence-based interventions.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians.
Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and physical agents (e.g., ultrasound, hydrotherapy).
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
Provide discharge planning, home exercise programs, and patient/family education.
Supervise Rehab Aides and support interdisciplinary collaboration.
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.
Participate in continuing education and staff development.
Qualifications
Current Colorado Physical Therapy License required.
BLS certification required.
Previous experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of rehabilitation practices, patient care, and clinical documentation.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
Manual dexterity to operate therapy equipment and computers.
