- Understand blueprints, sketches
- Measure, shape and cut materials to specified measurements
- Insulate, cover, wrap, staple, glue, fit insulation materials
- Fabricate and install architectural sheet metal and panels
- Finish insulation using sealants, tape, cement and metals
- Current and valid driver’s license, with clean driving record required
- North Slope Training Certification “NSTC” required
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 7 years of “Arctic” North Slope experience
- Take and pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
- Take and pass a Fit for Duty Examination.
- Advanced knowledge of Insulation installation processes and methods
- Knowledge of materials, methods, and the different type tools involved with insulation installation activities
- Knowledge of materials, methods, and the different types of tools involved in architectural sheet metal activities and installation methods
- Knowledge of design, principles and technical plans such as blueprints and drawings
- Knowledge of Hazardous Materials and Safety Regulations and industry practices related to materials and equipment use and operation
- Strong organization skills
- Ability to use time efficiently to complete projects/assignments on time
- Ability to communicate effectively in a team environment
- Ability to handle stress and possess positive attitude even in difficult or challenging situations

- While performing the duties of this job, the incumbent is regularly required to talk, hear, and see.

- The noise level in the work environment is usually loud and may require use of ear plugs on occasion.
- Work is usually done outside at a job site/field site that may have inclement weather conditions.
- The incumbent is exposed to moving mechanical parts, vehicles and equipment.
- The employee will be required to work and stay on site during work rotation and must comply with all Company and Client policies.
