- Provides technical guidance in analyzing and interpreting complex sections of project scope documents and assists in project management
- Develops and implements project controls standards and procedures
- Participates in proposal preparation and client presentations
- Prepares conceptual, preliminary and definitive estimates
- Maintains project schedule in accordance with company standards and procedures
- Ensures that all project scheduling activities such as schedule development, updates, progress reporting, and recommendations for corrective action comply with company and client requirements
- Assists in the determination of project manpower requirements and prepares periodic forecasts of personnel utilization.
- Ensures that all project activities such as budget development, budget monitoring, updates, cash flow requirements, and recommendations for corrective action comply with company and client requirements.
- Advises project management of cost impact of proposed design or construction changes.
- Advises clients of cost trends and their effects on anticipated project expenditures.
- Establishes methodologies and supervises life cycle cost analyses, economic/financial evaluations, productivity evaluations and value engineering analyses.
- Bachelor’s Degree or university degree with relevant construction or project management, business administration or engineering degree is desired.
- Capable of applying diversified knowledge of project controls principles and practices.
- Capability of making independent decisions
- Ability to perform all work in a safe manner that meets company & client standards
- Must be self-motivated and exercise self-initiative
- Performs work in a professional demeanor
- Demonstrated ability to lead others in a positive manner
- Ability to adapt to changing environment and work conditions

- Strong written and verbal communication – must be confident and comfortable in all aspects of project controls processes
- Excellent interpersonal skills with team members at all levels, agency representatives, clients and subcontractors
- Computer skills commensurate with program and job applications.
- "NSTC" North Slope Training Certification required
- Take and pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
- Take and pass a Fit for Duty Examination.
